TRAMBLINGS

Back from Wyoming. I have to admit it’s been a rough re-entry back to city life. Has Los Angeles always been this damn loud?

If you’re an aspiring writer, a published writer, or a not-sure-how-to -classify yourself writer, artist or musician give yourself the gift of an ARTIST RESIDENCY. The four weeks at the UCROSS FOUNDATION was the best thing I’ve done for myself – EVER. The Alliance of Artists Communities website has a list of programs divided by region and discipline. Take a look, browse for awhile, visit a few websites, download an application and APPLY. RES ARTS focuses on international residency programs for those of you interested in visiting another country.

Anyway, I’ll admit to being late to the CARL HIAASEN PARTY but now I am a huge fan. I read SICK PUPPY while I was away and laughed my ass off. Guess I’ll hunt down his first novel and read my way to the present.

Short and sweet today. Back to normal tomorrow.

Until next time. . .
